This month’s Story Changes Culture Book Club selection

Nasty Women: Feminism, Resistance, and Revolution in Trump's America, by Samhita Mukhopadhyay and Kate Harding

Our October Book Club selection brings back to the forefront an important collection of essays from women writers, reporters and poets. It was published in the months following the 2016 election and is worth our attention again as we contemplate and navigate what comes next. The collection invites us to consider the uncomfortable truths we must face in order to build a better future for all of us. No matter how much we’ve learned, there is always more to understand.

There are 23 essays from authors such as Cheryl Strayed, Zerlina Maxwell, Collier Meyerson, Jill Filipovic, Jessica Valenti, Jamia Wilson and Mary Kathryn Nagle, among so many other amazing voices. We can't wait to hear your favorites.
